ABOUT

SoniCentric transforms any environment with stunning 4K relaxing videos designed to create calm, focus, and peace.

Thanks for stopping by — I’m Joey Edwin, Founder of SoniCentric.

I’ve spent my entire career creating music and visual experiences designed to help people slow down, focus, and feel at ease. That journey began in Montevideo, Minnesota, and led me to graduate from the Professional Guitar School in Minneapolis in 1989. From there, I spent more than 25 years performing, producing, and touring as a professional musician.

As technology evolved, so did my passion for pairing sound with visual environments. In 2012, I launched one of the first guitar lesson platforms on Roku. Soon after, I combined my original instrumental music with calming visuals and created the Fireplace Lounge channel — a relaxing ambient experience that continues to reach audiences today.

That project opened the door to something bigger.

Over the years, I’ve gone on to create and produce hundreds of relaxing, ambient videos for major TV and streaming platforms, reaching millions of viewers worldwide. These experiences were designed to reduce stress, improve focus, and create a sense of calm — whether playing quietly in a living room, office, or shared space.

SoniCentric was born from a simple realization:
If calming ambient content helps people relax at home, it can be just as powerful — if not more so — in classrooms.

Today, SoniCentric is focused on bringing long-form ambient videos, visual timers, and calming backgrounds into learning environments. These tools are thoughtfully designed for interactive whiteboards and full school days, helping teachers create classrooms that feel calmer, more focused, and more supportive for students.

I’m truly grateful you’re here and honored to support educators in this way. If you have feedback, ideas, or would like to share how SoniCentric is helping your classroom, I’d love to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out through the contact page — your input directly shapes what we create next.

Creating Calm in every Classroom,
Joey
